Can you park at South Street Apartments?

The apartments are located in the centre of Chichester within the Pedestrian area. Whilst you are able to unable your bags parking is not permitted outside the building.

However, we are able to offer complimentary parking via a parking permit with a car park within 5 minutes walk. Please enquiry direct for help. There are many other paid parking options within the city.

Does South Street Apartments accept pets?

Small personal pets are permitted by request only and charges may apply for additional cleaning. Please enquire.

Are the apartments suitable for families with young children?

There are some apartments that offer additional beds for children, and in the majority of cases, the apartments are best for 2 adults with 1 child.

The apartments are on first and second floors with stairs and private patios.

We do not allow children under the age of 3 years.

Does South Street Apartments have stairs?

The apartments are located on the 1st and 2nd floor.

There is no lift in the building, so a short staircase leads up from the ground floor.

People with mobility issues may find this unsuitable.

Are fresh bed linen and towels provided for my stay?

Beds are made up with fresh linen and towels for your arrival. Toiletries are also available.

Will there be housekeeping during my stay?

Housekeeping is provided every three days to change towels and remove rubbish.

Additional services can be provided, including full laundry and concierge assistance for an additional cost. Please enquire.

Can I check in later than 3pm or later in the evening?

Our apartment doors are fixed with SmartLocks with a personal access code which allows you to access the property any time at your convenience.

Are the apartments quiet?

All apartment bedrooms face the Cathedral Green which is very quiet, apart from the weekly bell ringing at 7pm every Wednesday evening and Sunday morning at 10am for a 20 minute period on each occasion.

Are storage facilities available at the apartments?

No. However on request, we can store luggage or small bags pre-arrival and post-departure for a maximum for 12 hours.

Please note that no bikes or scooters can be stored.

Is early check-in or late check-out available ?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 10am.

However, requests for early check-in or later check-out can be requested and we will always try our best to offer this if possible.

Can additional guests or friends stay at the apartments?

Only the named persons who have registered at the time of booking are permitted to stay at the apartment.

This is for insurance and fire safety policy purposes.

Any breaches of this policy may result in the guest from being denied access to the apartment.

Are the apartments safe and secure?

There is recording CCTV throughout the communal areas of the building and each apartment is fitted with deadlocks for added security.

Are there recycling facilities within the building for rubbish?

Yes! Recycling bins are located within the communal areas.

Are there facilities for washing clothes?

Yes! There are washing machines and dryers available for use with our compliments.

For guests with us on extended stays, please enquire with our housekeeper.

Is a helpline or concierge offered during my stay?

Yes! There is a direct telephone number for instant response between 8am -10pm every day.
